Final Cover
By bringing the iconic Facebook reaction emojis into a 3D environment and appropriating their expressions to slowly warp into more insidious and disturbed expressions, we hope to convey the way in which global data conglomerates like Apple, Amazon, and Facebook hide their self-serving intentions behind the cutesy, smiling facade of emojis – which, in and of themselves have becomes tools of misinformation that further increase the red/blue divide and halt real meaningful discussion about news on social media.
